Boom Horses
Ireland. A horse wanders along the side of a road, in a field where the rain never stops falling. Some men try to capture it in order to reintegrate it into human society. It is an abandoned horse, one of tens of thousands of “Boom Horses”, these horses of prosperity whose price has collapsed due to the economic crisis. From wastelands to the market, then to the slaughterhouses, this film tells the story of a generation of horses, and a generation of men.
