The Siblings

Olivier, André, Jeanne and Yvonne, Monique, Béatrice, Pierre, Jacqueline and Françoise. There is the college professor, the pastor, the communist, the temple guardian, the nurse, the homosexual, the American, the psychoanalyst and the rebel. Nine brothers and sisters, nine amazing personalities. All of them have a sharp tongue and a freedom of tone that age has only strengthened. How do nine siblings grow up together? Who influences whom? Does one grow with or against? How much freedom is left by the group to the individual, how much is determined? So many questions, so many answers.

This film is an attempt to make a collective portrait of a generation that will soon disappear, of an environment that is slowly dying out, of nine people at the threshold of their lives, who look back one last time to contemplate the path they have taken.
