The night is Fading is the story of multiple attempts at reconciliation… A son looking for his father. A father who finds his childhood. A lover who discovers a Kabyle grandfather. And Algeria, past and contemporary… From a wintry Lorraine to the confines of the Aurès, in a documentary approach where the wind of fiction blows with force, the film draws several lines, oscillating between the intimate and the collective, and seeking to capture something of the depth of life.
