1999, Georgia. As a fine-arts young student in Tbilissi, I fall in love with a French woman I meet by chance. She is a war photographer, so I decide to go with her to the Chechnya front. Dropped into the middle of the fighting, I join a group of reporters risking their lives to cover this brutal conflict. Ten years later, I take the same path, but in the opposite direction. See you in Chechnya is a deeply personal film about war and what war does to the men who experience it.
