Juliette Cazanave
Juliette Cazanave studied history and art history in France, Spain and Germany. After graduating from the Complutense University of Madrid, the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP) and the Berlin Film School (DFFB), she has directed more than a dozen documentaries, all co-produced and broadcast by the Arte channel. Her films have all received critical acclaim and awards at national and international festivals.
Eager to build on her experience, gain independence and discover new talents, Juliette Cazanave founded her own company. Together, with César Díaz, she has produced or co-produced nearly thirty documentary and fiction films since the beginning of Kepler22.
Juliette Cazanave also works as a documentary teacher, among others at the Beaux-Arts de Lausanne (ECAL), and more recently in Russia, South-East Asia, Africa and South America for the association DOCMONDE. She is a member of the associations ADDOC, ACID, LUMIERES DU MONDE and AMIS DU REEL, of the EURODOC network and of SPI.
